is a term I wish I had invented. That phrase has evolved into a life style for a friend of mine. He is Danny Cahill, NBC's Biggest Loser winner for season 8. He and wife Darci were in town a few weeks ago at a local church helping out their 'LOSE-IT' campaign. About a dozen members formed two teams and competed for most pounds lost during a four week contest.
Danny started day one on the show at 430 pounds and lost 239 pounds to become the biggest loser of the first eight seasons the BL show. His weight was the result of several years of living in his very own personal and painful 'quit'. The link to his web site is listed below.
As you can imagine his trip to 191 pounds was a lot of very hard physical work. He said that his time at the BL ranch was a two way battle. One was his physical body and the other his heart. He had to confront and defeat a life habit of running from and avoiding. It took guts and determination to conquer a life of 'quit'.
Guts and Determination will fix a lot of our problems.

Also, thanks for commenting on my blog so I could follow you home. I promise I shaved my legs before heading over : )
