how many people mess-up a perfectly good today - with yesterday.
I can't claim the above as an original trueism-of-life, wish I could. That statement sums up the advice from about 90% of the self-help books out there—leave the past crap behind and get on with your living, right now.
So easy to say but not so easy to execute. However, most of us really don’t suffer this malady on a continuous basis, it’s just when on occasion a jab-from-the-past comes to visit that the excuses and alibies of those failures become uncomfortable. Some folks live back ‘there’ all of their lives, and sure don’t want you to forget about it either.
Of course, we all have better lives today because of lessons learned yesterday. So the next time one of your friends or family or workmate takes off on a tirade of a past suckie-this or a suckie-that, just be thankful it’s them and not you. Okay?
